About Me

Hi, I'm Gino Francia — a full stack design engineer focused on building intuitive, high-impact digital experiences. I combine strong UX foundations with technical fluency to take products from concept to code. Whether it's streamlining complex workflows or designing for industrial environments, I specialize in turning challenging problems into clear, usable solutions.

I’ve designed and developed for mobile (iOS, visionOS) and web platforms (React, Next.js), with a focus on usability, performance, and scalability. My work spans industries like manufacturing, healthcare, microelectronics, and enterprise SaaS—bringing structure and clarity to complex systems through thoughtful design.

Revenue Forecasting & Scenario Planning

Built for a major enterprise client, this tool enables real-time revenue forecasting and scenario planning. It replaced a slow, manual process with a responsive, automated system that supports faster and more strategic decision-making.

I led the end-to-end UX design—from early research and user mapping to high-fidelity prototyping and front-end development. Collaborating closely with engineers, I built out the front end using Next.js and TypeScript and integrated the platform with a Snowflake data lakehouse. The result: a 36-hour forecasting process reduced to just 15 minutes.

Manufacturing Operations AI Platform

Circularity AI is a casting optimization platform that uses AI to help aluminum manufacturers reduce metal costs and improve operational efficiency. I was the sole UI/UX designer responsible for turning a manual, high-stakes industrial workflow into an intuitive digital system.

I led the full product design—from stakeholder research and user journey mapping to prototyping and usability testing. I designed operator and manager interfaces that streamlined furnace charging and inventory management, embedding AI-assisted decision-making directly into the workflow. The final product launched on the plant floor, delivering measurable cost savings and increased use of recycled materials.
